Trigonox® 121 can be used to initiate the (co)polymerization of acrylates and methacrylates in the temperature range between 70°C and 120°C. Trigonox® 121 can be applied in suspension as well as in solvent and bulk polymerization. Trigonox® 121 can also be used for the copolymerization of styrene and acrylonitrile and for vinyl acetate based copolymers.

Trigonox® 125-C70 is an initiator (70% active ingredient in odorless mineral spirits) for (co)polymerization of ethylene, styrene, vinyl chloride, vinylidine chloride, acrylates and methacrylates, and polyols.

Trigonox® 122-C80 may be used as an initiator for the polymerization of styrene. Trigonox® 122-C80 is a difunctional peroxide. Under equivalent reaction conditions, polymerization times may be reduced by as much as 10% when compared to those generated by monofunctional peroxides with the same activity. Trigonox® 122-C80 can be successfully applied as an initiator for the (co)polymerization of low density ethylene. Trigonox® 122-C80 may also be used as an initiator for the (co)polymerization of acrylonitrile, acrylates and methacrylates.

In suspension polymerization processes, Trigonox® 141 can be used for the polymerization of styrene at approximately 90°C. Trigonox® 141 has an activity comparable with Dibenzoyl peroxide (Perkadox L-W75).However, the bifunctional Trigonox® 141 gives higher molecular weights of the polymer. Applying the same molecular weights means a reduction of polymerization time.

 ® 145-E85 is a 85% solution on mineral oil in liquid form.

Trigonox® 145-45B-PD is a 45% formulation on an inert carrier system in powder form

Trigonox® 249 is a peroxide blend specially developed for curing unsaturated polyester and vinylester resins at ambient conditions in conjunction with a metal accelerator. Trigonox® 249 can also be solely applied for the curing of UP resins at elevated temperatures.

Trigonox® 249 VR is a special peroxide blend with a VR system, suitable for curing unsaturated polyester and vinylester resins at ambient conditions in conjunction with a metal accelerator. Produces lower exotherms than standard MEKP’s and is useful in warm and hot weather climates. Applications include cast polymer and thick laminates.

Trigonox® 279 is a fast peroxide blend for the cure of unsaturated polyester resins at elevated temperatures in combination with a cobalt accelerator.
