TEROSON® EP 5055 is a solvent-free, two-component structural adhesive based on toughened epoxy resin, purpose-built for the automotive industry and body repair shops rather than general industrial bonding. It shows very good adhesion to bare steel, zinc-coated steel, and aluminum alloys — the specific substrate combination that matters most in vehicle body and collision repair, where high strength and corrosion protection both need to hold up together. Compared to a general-purpose industrial epoxy like LOCTITE® EA 1C™, EP 5055 is formatted for cartridge-based dispensing rather than hand mixing, which suits body-shop workflows using pneumatic or battery-driven applicators.
