Product Description
DYNAPOL® LS 436-12LN is a saturated, medium molecular weight, linear polyester resin carrying hydroxyl functionality, formulated to bring elasticity into otherwise rigid baking paint and coating systems. When cured with amino resin or blocked isocyanate, coatings built on LS 436-12LN cure to a notably soft, flexible film, and the resin blends cleanly with other polyester coating resins — which is why it's used primarily as a toughening resin rather than a primary film former. LS 436-12LN is supplied pre-dissolved in a solvent blend with a low naphthalene content (≤500 ppm), a detail that matters for formulators working under tightening naphthalene exposure limits in industrial coatings. It's widely used both as a toughening additive in polyester baking paint and as a base resin for color paste production.

Application
● Widely used and suitable for color paste production
