0Atlac® 430 ACT features perfect antiosmosis and long-term heat resistance. Suitable for marine and tooling making.
Product Description
Atlac® 430 ACT is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, high-grade bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin formulated specifically for hand lay-up and spray processing. Its standout property is excellent antiosmosis resistance combined with long-term heat resistance, making it especially well suited to marine hull construction below the waterline and to tooling manufacture — two applications where blister-free, long-term water immersion performance is critical.
Compared with our general-purpose Atlac® 430, which is suited to filament winding, centrifugal casting, hand lay-up, and spray-up across chemical processing and marine applications, Atlac® 430 ACT is purpose-built for hand lay-up and spray processes only, with antiosmosis performance as its defining advantage for marine and tooling applications. If your process is vacuum infusion (VIP) or RTM instead, see the low-viscosity Atlac® 430 LV GT250.If flame retardancy is the priority, see the brominated Atlac® 430YT 901.
