ECOSURF™ EH-9 is a nonionic alcohol ethoxylate surfactant from Dow, engineered for formulators who need superior wetting, excellent oily soil removal, and rapid dissolution without sacrificing rinseability. With an HLB of 12.5, EH-9 performs well as a good wetting agent and detergent-range surfactant, making it a strong fit for hard surface and high-performance cleaner formulations, paint and coating systems, pulp and paper processing, textile processing, and agrochemical adjuvant packages. The product carries a low odor profile, exhibits no gel range during handling, and is readily biodegradable with an aquatic toxicity EC50 above 10 mg/L — supported by Dow's Returna™ sustainability attribute for advancing biodegradability.
