Description
AEROSIL® 200 F is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 200 m²/g, produced to food- and feed-grade purity standards. Its fine, high-purity particle structure makes it an effective rheology-control and anti-caking additive across a broad range of formulations, from liquid suspensions to dry powder blends.
Compared with precipitated or natural silica, AEROSIL® 200 F's fumed manufacturing process gives it a more consistent particle size and higher purity (SiO&sub2; content >99.8%), which translates into more predictable thickening and anti-settling behavior batch to batch — an important factor for food and feed manufacturers working under tight formulation tolerances.

Typical Application
● Food-anti-caking and flow aid for powdered food ingredients; thickening and anti-settling for liquid food formulations.
● Feed-free-flow and anti-caking agent for premixes and powdered feed additives.
● Rheology and thixotr opy contol of liquid systems
●
Used as anti-settling, thickening and anti-sagging agent
● Improvement of free flow and anticaking characteristics of powders
● High purity, low humidity content
● No influence on taste
● Does not alter natural colour of powder formulation
