Enguard™ products consist of specially tailored polymer resins blended with selective colorants and additives to provide the reliable protection expected by manufacturers for in-mold coatings of fiber reinforced plasticsand casting polymers. Some Enguard™ gel coat products are suitable for INEOS’ unique Instint™ automatic color mixing machine service.
Product property
Enguard™ TOBY Gel coat additives (including paraffin) are aromatic hydrocarbon products. They can be used in combination with gel coat to make topcoat, which can be sprayed directly on the surface of fiberglass. It cures quickly, has a smooth surface, is easy to grind and polish, and can maintain the same color as the original gel coat.

Application
Enguard™ TOBY Gel coat additives (including paraffin wax) should be added to the unsaturated polyester resin gel coat at room temperature and mixed thoroughly to repair the surface of FRP products. The amount added to the Application gel coat is 1.5-2%. The paraffin solution will crystallize when the temperature is below 10°C.
