Thermal Stability & StorageAs with all organic peroxides, Trigonox® 117 is thermally unstable and can undergo self-accelerating decomposition. The Self-Accelerating Decomposition Temperature (SADT), determined by the Heat Accumulation Storage Test per UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, is 60°C (140°F). Maximum storage temperature (Ts max.): 20°C (68°F). Under recommended storage conditions, Trigonox® 117 remains within specification for at least 3 months after delivery. Store in a dry, well-ventilated place away from heat and ignition sources and direct sunlight; never weigh out product in the storage room; avoid contact with reducing agents (e.g. amines), acids, alkalis, and heavy metal compounds (e.g. accelerators, driers, metal soaps). Refer to the Safety Data Sheet for full handling guidance prior to use.
