Product Description

Trigonox 122-CH80 is 1,1-di(tert-amylperoxy) cyclohexane, supplied as an 80% solution in odorless mineral spirits, manufactured by Nouryon. It functions as an initiator for the (co)polymerization of ethylene, styrene, acrylates, and methacrylates.

Trigonox 122-CH80 is a highly efficient midrange initiator for curing unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins at elevated temperatures. It pairs well with our unsaturated polyester resin and vinyl ester resin product lines, and with thickeners such as our LUVATOL MK 35 in SMC/BMC molding compound formulations. Application
Trigonox® 122-CH80 is a highly efficient midrange initiator for curing unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins at elevated temperatures. Typical applications include prepreg, premix, BMC, TMC, SMC and pultrusion. Trigonox® 122-CH80 provides excellent catalyzed shelf-life in BMC and SMC formulations.
