Product Description
Neogel® 8373-I-2E is an iso/neopentyl glycol (ISO-NPG) gelcoat developed especially for boat building, swimming pools, sanitary ware, and furniture. It combines easy application, good resistance to long water immersion (good blister resistance), excellent weatherability (less yellowing), good air release, and good mechanical properties. It conforms to USA ANSI-Z-124-1 and is approved by DNV Italia and Italian RINA.

Neogel® 8373-I-2E is pre-accelerated, thixotropic, and ready for use, available in a wide range of colors in spray type (this grade) or brush type (8373-I-2E H). Paraffinated versions are also available on request: paraffinated spray (Neogel® 8373-T/SR-2E) and paraffinated brush (Neogel® 8373-T-2E H).
Recommended spray equipment settings:
Spray gun: nozzle diameter 2.0–3.5 mm, pressure 4–5 bar
Airless equipment: nozzle types 18/40–21/40
For optimum performance:
Operating temperature: 18–25°C
Cure with 50% MEKP solution (e.g. Butanox M50), adjusted between 1.0–2.5%
Film thickness: 600–800 g/m²
Suitable for brush, roller, air-atomized spray gun, and airless spray application.
