Description
Efka FA 4644 is a low-molecular-weight dispersing agent that reduces the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders on one side and the vehicle on the other, delivering reduced dispersing time, improved stabilization of the pigment dispersion, reduced pigment sedimentation, increased gloss, and improved flow. Unlike the other Efka FA-series dispersing agents processed in this session — Efka FA 4611, Efka FA 4608, and Efka FA 4609, which focus on inorganic pigments — Efka FA 4644 also covers organic pigments and is specifically suited to dispersing organically treated bentonites.

Application
Efka® FA 4644 is compatible with all coating systems (solvent-free or not). The pot-life of two-pack systems is not affected. Advantages offered by using Efka® FA 4644 when dispersing organically treated bentonites are:
