Product Detail

Description

Perkadox® GB-50X is a free-flowing 50% dibenzoyl peroxide (BPO) formulation on a phthalate-free carrier from Nouryon, used for curing unsaturated polyester resins and (meth)acrylic resins at ambient and elevated temperatures. It's a non-caking, fine, granular powder with excellent free-flowing properties, dispersing and dissolving quickly in these resin systems.Below 80°C, Perkadox® GB-50X requires an aromatic tertiary amine accelerator to cure; above 80°C, no accelerator is needed. Because it doesn't dissolve completely clear in the resin system, it isn't suited to cured parts requiring a high degree of transparency — Nouryon recommends Perkadox® GB-50L for those applications instead.
