Product Description
LOCTITE® 410™ takes the cyanoacrylate family in a different direction from fast, low-viscosity grades like LOCTITE® 401™ and 406™: it's a rubber-toughened formulation with a notably higher viscosity (1,700 to 5,000 mPa·s) and a black color, built to add flexibility, peel strength, and shock resistance rather than pure bonding speed. That combination makes it the choice when a joint needs to survive impact or vibration, not just hold static load, across metals, plastics, and rubbers. The trade-off is a longer fixture time than the faster grades in this range — 410™ performs best in thin bond gaps around 0.05 mm, and full chemical/solvent resistance still takes at least 24 hours to develop after initial fixturing.

Bond surfaces should be clean and free from grease. 410™ performs best in thin bond gaps around 0.05 mm — wider gaps slow the cure rate. Excess adhesive can be dissolved with LOCTITE® cleanup solvents, nitromethane, or acetone.
LOCTITE® 410™ is not recommended for pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems, or as a sealant against chlorine or other strong oxidizers.
Store in the original, unopened container in a dry location. Optimal storage is 2°C to 8°C — storage below 2°C or above 8°C can affect product properties. Material removed from the container should not be returned to it once it may have been contaminated during use.
