Exploring New Applications for Composite Materials

A walk through the exhibition halls also offered our team a closer look at the latest applications of composite materials. Among the most impressive exhibits were lightweight carbon-fibre automotive components, fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, aerospace structures, and a passenger-carrying electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL). These displays demonstrated how composite materials are supporting weight reduction, structural strength, design flexibility, and improved efficiency across the automotive, aerospace, UAV, and low-altitude aviation industries. The exhibits also reflected the growing demand for reliable resin systems, curing agents, release agents, and other processing materials as composite applications continue to expand into new markets.
