NPEL-128 is a liquid epoxy resin from Nan Ya manufactured from bisphenol-A and epichlorohydrin, recognized as the standard-form base resin from which other Nan Ya grades — including the lower-viscosity NPEL-127 (8,000–11,000 cps/25°C, versus 12,000–15,000 cps/25°C for NPEL-128) — have been developed as variations. Cured, it offers quality and high-purity properties such as maximum mechanical strength, good chemical resistance, and excellent heat resistance.
NPEL-128 also carries a slightly higher epoxy equivalent weight (184–190 g/eq) than NPEL-127 (176–184 g/eq), consistent with it being the higher-viscosity, higher-molecular-weight member of this resin family.
