Description
NPEL-127 is an undiluted liquid epoxy resin from Nan Ya, chemically a diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A, with a lower viscosity (8,000–11,000 cps/25°C) than the company's NPEL-128 grade while providing similar properties after cure. Cured with a polyamine or polyamide hardener, it delivers maximum mechanical strength, good chemical resistance, and excellent heat resistance in high-purity applications.
Nan Ya also offers a low-chloride variant of this same base resin, NPEL-127E(300 ppm max hydrolyzable chlorine, versus 1,000 ppm max for standard NPEL-127), intended for electronic applications where lower ionic chloride content is required. Under sealed storage, standard NPEL-127 is less prone to crystallization than NPEL-127E — though diluting NPEL-127 with BGE (butyl glycidyl ether) may induce crystallization.

Diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol-A
Application
NPEL-127 is used in laminates, filament winding, encapsulation, civil engineering, tooling, and adhesives.
Storage
Shelf life is at least 12 months in sealed containers at ambient temperature. If NPEL-127 develops haziness or crystallites during storage, it can be restored to its original condition by warming to 50–60°C with stirring.
Handling Precautions
This product may cause skin and eye irritation. In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water. For eye contact, flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately.
