LOCTITE® EA 1C™ is a two-part general purpose epoxy adhesive and sealant that bonds, seals, and repairs a wide range of materials, including metals, most plastics, and wood. What sets it apart from a structural bonding epoxy likeLOCTITE® EA 9497™ is that it cures to a finish that's both machinable and sandable, so it works well for fill-and-finish repair work as much as for straightforward bonding. It also stands out for low outgassing properties and good high-temperature service, which makes it a reasonable fit for electronics enclosures or vacuum-adjacent applications where off-gassing matters, alongside more general metal, plastic, and wood repair work. Cure can proceed at room temperature over 72 hours, or be accelerated with heat when faster turnaround is needed.
