Product Description
Atlac® 590UHT is a novolac epoxy vinyl ester resin engineered for corrosive environments at ultra-high temperature. Components made with it retain mechanical properties at high temperature exceptionally well, and offer superior resistance to oxidizing chemicals and solvents.
Need moderate high-temperature performance rather than ultra-high (>200°C)? See Atlac® 590Z, our standard novolac epoxy vinyl ester grade.
● Relatively low styrene emission
● High crosslinking density
● Resists elevated temperatures above 200°C
● High resistance to thermal aging
● Outstanding resistance to strong acids, oxidizing media, and organic solvents over a wide temperature range

Application
Atlac® 590UHT is the preferred choice for applications with high operating/design temperatures. It is designed for ease of fabrication using hand lay-up, spray-up, filament winding, compression molding, and resin transfer molding. It has been applied in chemical storage tanks, pipes, flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, stacks, scrubbers, and ducts, and offers excellent resistance to organic solvents due to its high crosslinking density.
