Product Description
YCK-1330 is a polyether-modified polysiloxane copolymer solution manufactured by YCK Chemical, designed as a leveling agent for solvent-based coating systems, with particularly strong performance in wood coatings. By reducing surface tension, it improves substrate wetting and helps prevent cratering, while enhancing surface smoothness, scratch resistance, and anti-blocking performance.
In wood coating systems specifically, YCK-1330 helps reduce airflow sensitivity to prevent Bénard cell formation and improves alignment of matting agents for a more consistent, uniform finish.
