The Unitree R1 is a compact 7-axis bionic robotic arm developed for research, education and intelligent robotic applications. Weighing approximately 5.5 kg, it offers a 2 kg payload, a maximum reach of 650 mm, position and force control, collision detection and flexible end-effector expansion. Its lightweight desktop design and Ubuntu-based development environment make it an accessible platform for robotic manipulation, laboratory automation, dual-arm collaboration and embodied-AI research.
