EPOXY WSR 618( E51) is a liquid resin manufactured from bisphenol-A and epichlorohydin. It is recognized as a standard from which many variations have been developed .A wide variety of curing agents is available to cure liquid epoxy resins at ambient conditions. The most frequently used are aliphatic polyamines, polyamides, amidoamines, cycloaliphatic amines and modified versions of these curing agents.

WSR 618 is a liquid epoxy resin manufactured from bisphenol-A and epichlorohydrin. It is widely regarded as a standard, general-purpose liquid epoxy resin, comparable to E-51 type resins commonly specified in the domestic Chinese market, from which many modified variations have been developed. A broad range of curing agents can be used to cure WSR 618 at ambient temperature, most commonly aliphatic polyamines, polyamides, amidoamines, and cycloaliphatic amines, or modified versions of these chemistries.Elevated-temperature cure schedules are sometimes used to improve chemical resistance and glass transition temperature. When anhydride or catalytic curing agents are used instead, elevated-temperature curing and extended post-cure are generally required to develop full end-use properties.
