BE-501 is a bisphenol-A type solid epoxy resin from Chang Chun, positioned as the entry point of Chang Chun's solid resin ladder (which extends through higher-EEW grades BE-502, BE-503, BE-504, BE-507, and BE-509 for progressively higher-molecular-weight, higher-softening-point applications). BE-501 is supplied as a solid resin rather than a liquid or solvent-diluted grade, distinguishing it from Chang Chun's liquid BE-1xx series (e.g. BE114, BE115, BE186, BE188) and solvent-type BE-501X/M/L variants. Evergreen Chemicals supplies BE-501 as an authorized Chang Chun distributor.

Application
BE-501 is used in powder coatings, packaging coatings, and can and coil coatings — applications that call for a solid resin with good melt flow at moderate cure temperatures and a low-color finish.
