Product Description
AROPOL M 105 TBR is a low styrene emission unsaturated polyester resin based on orthophthalic acid, manufactured by Ashland Performance Materials. Styrene emission under working conditions is reduced by up to 50% compared with standard resin — typical emission during use is only 2–5% of resin usage, versus 5–10% for a standard polyester resin. The resin offers excellent glass fiber wet-out properties and ease of application.AROPOL M 105 TBR is a thixotropic, pre-accelerated resin with moderate gel time and a very low peak exotherm, which supports building thicker laminates in a single wet-on-wet application.

Application
AROPOL M 105 TB resin is suitable for spray-up, hand lay-up and filament winding methods for manufacturing numerous FRP products for the marine, building and construction and transportation markets.
When applying AROPOL M 105 TB resin, styrene emission is reduced by up to 50% compared to standard resins. Emission is only 2-5% of polyester resin used compared to 5-10% of standard polyester resin. Excellent glass fiber wet out properties and easiness of application is characteristic for AROPOL M 105 TB.
