Description

Additive OF is a 100%-active stabilizer and moisture scavenger for solvent-based polyurethane (PU) coatings. It eliminates residual moisture in both 1K and 2K solvent-based PU systems, protecting isocyanate-reactive formulations from premature moisture-driven side reactions such as CO&sub2; generation, foaming, and loss of pot life or film properties.

Additive OF is low in viscosity and compatible with most polyol and isocyanate components, making it straightforward to incorporate into existing PU coating formulations without significant reformulation.

Note: Additive OF is often used together with Additive TI to fully stabilize a polyurethane coating — see the "Formulating with Additive TI" section below for the correct order of addition.
